With our solutions water, wastewater and energy utilities around the world can save energy and water. We are very proud of our special expertise, that combines energy and water engineering to software solutions to create unique products for engineers around the world. Our software is widely adopted across Finland and also already being used in several other countries. We are on the verge of a global breakthrough.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to boost our international sales through partnerships.

About you

You are a highly energetic and motivated team player with a passion for business and sustainability. You have a proven track record in successful international software sales as well as in partnership network building in different business fields. You are driven by delivering meaningful, fact-based, win-win solutions to your partners and customers.

Through your experience, you can:
  • Define an internationalization strategy.
  • Find the most lucrative market areas and countries for our market-leading energy and water engineering solutions.
  • Build a go-to-market strategy and tactics for each market area.
  • Develop a partnership program and manage existing partnerships.
  • Identify key reseller partners and build reseller channels in each market area.
  • Develop and negotiate partnership agreements with the reseller partners.
  • Nurture and grow the partnership network.
  • Build the best sales strategy and models for each market area.
  • In the future manage an international sales team.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales, Consulting, and/or Business Development experience, preferably in the software industry.
  • A Master’s Degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or applicable.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communications skills. Other languages are a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and drive for sales and networking.
  • A strong sense of ownership and drive for delivering excellent results.
  • Experience in owning, managing and delivering against complex business engagements and agreements.
  • Experience in energy and water engineering solutions is a plus.

You will become an integral part of a growing team of 10 experts in Engineering and Software that has a mindset of working and supporting one another in a non-hierarchical manner. With us, you will get the freedom and support to make this your dream job.


You will be working closely with the CEO who himself is based in our Järvenpää office (larger Helsinki region). Your base location can be within the larger Helsinki, Turku, Tampere or Jyväskylä regions. We also offer very agile methods for working where and however you deem necessary.
